PROJECT DETAILS

This project began in May 2018 and consisted of three phases. MCE provided Civil and Structural Engineering on all three phases.

Phase 1: The redevelopment of the Junior School with a new 2 storey extension which includes six new classrooms, a pre-school classroom, a staff room, associated resource rooms and reception with a new rooftop play area. Phase 1 has a total floor area of 1,080 m².

Phase 2: Demolition of the existing swimming pool and the development of an innovative Senior School STEM block over 2 storeys,  which encompasses four state-of-the-art modern and flexible science laboratories, a computer science room and a resource room.  The total floor area of  Phase 2 was 670m2.

Phase 3: The second stage of the Junior School redevelopment, with a floor size of 600m2,  involved a new exterior which includes an additional classroom, General Purpose Hall, art room, science room and additional ancillary accommodation.

The project was fully completed by Jan 2024. All works took place on a live campus which required careful coordination, safety planning and phased scheduling.  The project was fully completed by Jan 2024.

The project received a Highly Commended Award by ACEI in 2024 Engineering Excellence Awards in the Micro Firm Category.
