Kilternan Parish Centre

Kilternan Parish Centre

Kilternan parish hall dates from 1837 and is set in a courtyard with the church and church cottage. The parish hall had long since ceased to be fit for purpose and a substantial redevelopment was planned. Having advised the design team on fire and access issues, we successfully applied for a Fire Safety and Disability Access Certificate. As Assigned Certifier, we prepared the commencement notice and have been inspecting the ongoing works. Works are expected to be completed by August 2018.

Key Tasks and Challenges:

  • Works to a protected structure
  • Fire Safety and Access consultancy
  • Acting as Assigned Certifier

Client: The Select Vestry of the Parish of Kilternan
