PROJECT DETAILS

Kilternan parish hall dates from 1837 and is set in a courtyard with the church and church cottage. The parish hall had long since ceased to be fit for purpose and a substantial redevelopment was planned. Having advised the design team on fire and access issues, we successfully applied for a Fire Safety and Disability Access Certificate. As works progressed on-site, we carried out inspections of the fire safety works and check contractor submittals to ensure compliance with Building Regulations.

Key Tasks and Challenges:

  • Works to a protected structure
  • Building with multiple uses and vulnerable clients
  • Inspection and certification of works
  • Fire Safety Engineering, Access Consultancy, and Assigned Certifier services
other Fire Safety Projects
