McCrae Consulting Engineers was established in 2011 by Richard McCrae after 13 years with the respected Civil and Structural Engineering firm, Lee McCullough. In September 2020, McCrae Consulting Engineers merged with LMC Consulting Engineers, a practice founded in 2012 by former Lee McCullough directors Frank Lee, Gerry McCabe, and associate Norman Irvine.
With the retirement of Frank Lee and Gerry McCabe, Richard McCrae and Norman Irvine saw a timely opportunity to combine their expertise. As a result, McCrae Consulting Engineers now incorporates LMC Consulting Engineers.
This merger has strengthened our ability to deliver enhanced services to clients, offering the benefits of increased scale while staying true to the core values of both practices. Clients continue to enjoy direct access to senior, highly experienced staff, ensuring quality, continuity, and personalised attention.
