The basement of the St Stephen Green club has been transformed from an unused neglected area to a modern 5 star bar. As Civil and Structural Engineers, we were tasked with ensuring that a number of internal alterations were carried out in a sympathetic manner in this important Protected Structure. One significantly challenging aspect of this project was the routing of new services, including air conditioning to the internal spaces and the forming of structural openings to facilitate them.
Key Tasks and Challenges:
- Civil and Structural Engineering to facilitate modern fitout
- Working within a confined city centre site
- Working on a Protected Structure
